A Little About Me
Hi my name is Jeneeka and welcome to Jengie!
Jengie,is my little design blog dedicated to the simple things I love being around. Home cooking, good company, inspiring design, and never ending daydreams.

Jengie was a nickname given to me when I was a little kid when I had lumpy frizzy black curls for hair and a personality of a shy shy little girl who was reluctant to say hello.
I would hide behind projects, whether it was making friendship bracelets, writing short stories, or adding numerous craft books to my collection, I always loved making things. Little did I know making things could actually be a real job.

Flash forward to college and I was on the road to a career in medicine. At that time, I had no idea what cool jobs were out there and I was just fulfilling what I thought I wanted to do.

But after grueling classes, labs, and volunteering , I realized I was meant to do something creative.I wanted to design, build, and create. Whether it was clothes, jewelry, home decor, or things that would solve problems. I loved it all.

Since then I've worked for companies developing all sorts of beautiful, innovative, and interesting products.

That's why I created Jengie to share my creative thoughts, design process, and eventually a few products of my own. Until then I hope you get inspired to do what you love.
